Confirmation Registration

If you are attending 10th grade or higher this upcoming fall, you may register by completing the "Confirmation Registration Form 2023-2024" to be downloaded here: Confirmation

**Students registered in the Confirmation Class MUST also attend to PREP Life Teen/Youth Group that meets on Sundays from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.** Confirmation Class will meet on Wednesdays from 6:35 PM to 7:50 PM.

St. Peter’s Life Teen begins Sunday, September 10 for High School grades!  They meet in the Rectory at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Monthly social nights will be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

The Sacrament of Confirmation

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the “sacraments of Christian initiation, whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.

Confirmation:

St. Peter’s follows the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Atlanta and celebrates the Sacrament of Confirmation for those students in the 10th grade. In order for a student to receive this sacrament they must successfully complete two consecutive years of the PREP program. The baptism and First Holy Communion of each individual must be verified. If St. Peter’s was not the originating church of those sacraments it is necessary to ensure that the church office obtains an original to copy of these certificates to keep in our church records.

The Confirmation program is a free standing program separate from any other 10th grade religious education program. Additional fees may be charged. For more information, please contact our DRE, Vivian Thomas.
