St. Vincent de Paul

The mission of St. Vincent de Paul is to provide an environment for spiritual growth and development of its members by joining together in a bond of friendship through God’s love and offering help to those who are needy and suffering.  We serve the poor and suffering confidentiality; with mercy, compassion, generosity and respect.

St. Vincent de Paul St. Peters conference, established in 1984, serves those in need from Troup and Meriwether counties. Services provided include financial assistance for utilities and rent, food pantry and referral to other agencies.

Our ministry is manned by all volunteers. Our funds are primarily from the generosity of our parishioners.

Our helpline at 706-884-0076  opens every Monday at 9am and closes when we reach our goal number of calls or when we are out of funds. Calls are returned within the same week.

All members of the parish are welcome to attend a meeting and learn more about becoming a Vincentian.
