The Council of Catholic Women acts through its members to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. CCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.
The St. Peter’s Council of Catholic Women is in the Southwest District of the Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women.
The St. Peter’s Council of Catholic Women (CCW) conducts annual fundraisers including a yard sale and bake sale to raise funds to help our parish and the local community. St. Peter’s CCW donates annually to help support the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Camp Viola, Circles, Harmony House, the Yolanda K. Jabaley Clothing Center, LaGrange Personal Aid, Good Sam Ministries, American Cancer Society and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cancer Home. The CCW also organizes donation drives for First Choice Women’s Center, The LaGrange Troup County Homeless Coalition Warming Center and the American Red Cross.
St. Peter’s CCW also provides community service to our parish by hosting and organizing events such as our annual Epiphany Party. CCW also hosts birthday parties at both of our local nursing homes and provide volunteers for the Yolanda K. Jabaley Clothing Center and LaGrange Personal Aid Interfaith Food Pantry.
The St. Peter’s CCW meets on the third Monday of each month in the multi-purpose room at 7:00 pm. All are welcome!
